Kyrie

Final piece for the Digital Foundation subject in my Bachelor of Illustration course. (Yes, hooray, I'm finally in art school!) I used Illustrator for the first time this year and this is the first finished thing I've done with significant vector rendering in it. I really like the clean lines and bold colours I can do with it - maybe it's more of a mindset than the medium but the tools there certainly help. Maybe I'll do more vector-character rater-background images from now on?

Introducing Kyrie, the Hungry Ghost - star of my yet-unwritten novel, COTE - rising to defend her city from a hulking mech guardian. More featuring her to come hopefully in future. =>
