Forgotten Angel of Faust

EDIT: BG-layer-displacement fixed; shadows to cape where it's held; and attempted to fix up legs a little - thanks, ~sawadamasahiro!

EDIT 2: (25/7) Altered eyes slightly - forgot lower lid, and some contrast issues pointed out by *Helrouis - cheers! Minor neck and thigh shading altered too.

EDIT 3: (28/7) Rather major revision of legs, spurred by ~fainin's comments (referenced myself and realised the posing was COMPLETELY off, orz). Also added darker shading to shirt, extra detailing to the face, re-rendered her left hand. Lol, it feels like I could go on editing this until I die - one of those pieces I've come to care that much about. <3

Well guys, this'd be the second time I've painted something (rather than lineart-colouring), so please excuse the simplicity of the pose and anything else that's wrong (point 'em out though!). Was going for something more complex than the initial lolcakes-crossover here [link] , something I might use to replace the lined-style in my big pieces to date. Happy with the progress so far, but of course, there's still much to practice up on.

Mostly done on one layer. Cape was merged down after it was blocked out. Third-eye and veins, runes and the 'egg' in her hand were on separate layers until I messed up and merged them at the end too. BG and shadow effects on layers below though for obvious reasons. GAWD, this is so much easier than switching between dozens of layers like I'm used to. D=

Oh, I didn't mention who it was. It's KOISHI, from Touhou again ... with some unusual add-ons. If you're cool you can probably work out what the heck I'm referencing with all this jazz. ;3
